The Soil Health Assessment - or Visual Soil Assessment (VSA) is a way to objectively assess the soil quality in the field. The assessment is based on a set of parameters, divided into physical, biological and chemical factors. Soil health is all about natural processes like aeration, water transport, humification. The selected parameters can be seen as proxies to monitor those processes. As we all now, soil health is the foundation for healthy trees.
