Custom made soil moisture sensor

In the VIVES ecosystem – where the Urban Forestry Lab is embedded – we found a perfect match with our colleagues of IoTlab. Together we are building a new low cost soil moisture sensor in our DUST research project that measures the soil moisture at 4 different depths and soil temperature. By developing our own hard- and software for the sensor which  includes an open API system, we will be able to monitor the water related ecosystem services of urban soils.Know more? contact bregt.roobroeck@vives.be
